I've had the great luck of having many private dinners over the years, and I found Aram Reeds head and shoulders above all other experiences I have had. The food, service, and overall experience with chef Gabriel mace my friends trip to Chicago something that we will never forget! He was very funny and made is very comfortable while also showing exceptional professionalism. Really outstanding experience. In addition to being an exceptional chef, Gabriel was a joy to work with, and did great veg options, which my one vegetarian "friend" enjoyed greatly .Posted on Google

From the initial planning through execution, he was thoughtful, responsive, and incredibly detail-oriented. He truly understood the tone of the evening and created a menu and service style that elevated the entire experience. The food was outstanding—beautifully presented and perfectly suited to the event. Just as importantly, his team was professional, warm, and seamless throughout the night. Everything flowed effortlessly, which allowed me to fully enjoy the evening with my guests. I would give zero stars if I could. Our friends got us what seemed like a wonderful gift - an in-home dining experience for 6 with Chef Aram. They got this for us during Covid and we wanted to wait until they were able to visit before using it, as the gift certificate stated that the value on it never expired. They finally were able to come to town earlier this month. When we reached out to try to arrange to use it, Chef Aram told us that usually those values expire after a year but if we sent the card #, he would see what he could do. That was three weeks ago and, despite two follow-up notes, he has ghosted us. My counsel would be to look elsewhere.Posted on Google

He always provides pleasant experience, customized menu, will work and change whatever you wish. He is always on time, set up is flawless and clean up! We have a great time, and are super happy we can just focus on our group and not worry about anything else. Food is ALWAYS 10/10 delicious! And he even offers to donate food we won’t be able to eat, which is a huge plus for us! Just amazing work every step of the way. Following surgery, my husband and I decided to order meals from Chef Aram Reed’s Family Meal Delivery. The menu choices, organic and fresh produce, timely preparation and on time delivery made the whole experience easy and memorable! Each single meal - enough for 2 people is, as of now, $30. Can anyone buy a carry out for less than $40-$60? It’s usually salty m, fattening and sometimes, quality unpredictable! Our orders were: 1) Sage pork tenderloin, smashed red potatoes & asparagus; 2) beef kebab, , and green beans; 3) salmon filet, quinoa & sautéed onions & peppers; shrimp w/coconut curry sauce & rice. The portions exceptionally generous- enough for 3 persons; veggies were bright green and perfectly cooked, not mushy; pork & beef very tender-generous portions; shrimp fresh, not fishy. 1 beef kebab was substituted for boneless-skinless chicken, which was dry probably overcooked. The Salmon was a good texture, though not ‘fresh’ tasting, a bit bland. . Overall, the prepared family meals tasted home cooked, lightly seasoned, with very generous portions, high quality ingredients! We won’t hesitate to order from Chef Aram Reed again!Posted on Google

I could not have imagined a more wonderful evening - it was completely stress free and fun, the food was incredible (think of some of the best restaurants you’ve been to and now bring it to your home but not just with your usual one appetizer, main, dessert but a beautiful selection and an incredibly rich, varied, and delicious menu). We ended up not just with an incredible chef (whose wonderful personality added to the evening) but also a wonderful bartender who was pure magic. We were spoiled, wined and dined in our beautiful, relaxing home with no pressure to pay or leave and it was a huge success. I would say it was was one of these experiences that are simply good for the soul. We are already planning many more events like this in our mind and it was hands down one of the best evenings I have ever had due to the incredible talent, personality, and professionalism of Chef Aram’s group. Not only by the food, but the presentation, the service and the Chef and his assistant Ryan. Chef Aram worked with me to customize a menu of 4 appetizers, 4 main dishes and dessert, all specific to the likes of the Bday girl and her friends. He brought all of his own equipment and serving dishes as we were in an AirBNB, cooked, served, and cleaned all while entertaining our group. From Ryan making amazing Old Fashioned drinks and serving them to us as we lounged around, to Aram telling stories of his life as a chef, and even creating individualized left-over containers for anyone who just couldn't take another bite, we loved every minute of it. If you are on the fence about hiring Aram, do not hesitate! Everything was better than a dinner out. They were all incredibly friendly and thoughtful and went above and beyond to make it a special night. They took over cocktail preparation for us and let our two teenage guests help them plate some of the food. All of the dishes we landed on were phenomenal. The lamb was a tour de force, one of my favorite things I’ve ever eaten. I’m not just saying that. The guests were also uniformly ecstatic. Your team was also outstanding, handling everything with aplomb, from the need to move the table to the later start due to the later arriving guest. Nothing was over-spiced; the ingredients themselves were the stars of the show. You know it’s good when you can’t stop thinking about how tasty the roasted vegetables were. Chef Aram was incredibly accommodating when I requested an alternative dessert. Little did I know that I would get the best key lime pie that I’ve ever had on my life!! Ordering was easy. The communication was great throughout the process. And the delivery person was so incredibly kind. When my elderly father came to the door, the delivery person was patient and ensured dad could carry everything since I wasn’t home. He was ready to help carry if needed. So sweet. I've never done the personal chef experience, and I stumbled onto Chef Reed's info based on these stellar reviews. What can I say about the experience that hasn't already been said. He and his team were exceptional. It was an absolute five star experience from start to finish. We never lifted a finger and they made my wife and all of our guests the center of attention. The food was better than any five star experience you will have in the city. Chef Reed was also very personable and welcoming, he provided culinary insights and humor throughout the evening which was a wonderful balance. We did the chef table dinner which I highly recommend. He was very quick to respond to all of my emails during our planning time, provided multiple options and accommodated all of our dietary restrictions. On the day of, we had Chef Luis and Lindsey on-site who were both so helpful and kept everything flowing smoothly. Chef Luis did an outstanding job cooking as well as letting us know everything we were having to eat, which was so much food! We agreed on a date, time, and I was told that I would be contacted the week of the event with menu options. When I heard nothing on the Monday of that week, I contacted him only to find out that there was a scheduling conflict and he was no longer available. I cannot speak to the quality of the experience he provides because we did not get to that point. However, I cannot recommend others use his services simply because of the lack of communication. I never received any notice of cancelation/scheduling conflict until days before our agreed upon event and only after I reached out to him myself.Posted on Google

Adam Weil30 June 2021My wife and I typically travel or go out for out Anniversary, but this year we were unable because we've got a two-week old bundle of joy at home. So Chef Aram brought the fine dining to us! He responded to my request for a proposal promptly, made a custom menu based on our likes / dislikes and showed up on time. From there he transported us back to our honeymoon in Italy, with 6 exquisite courses prepared right in our home! But honestly as good as the food was, the company was even better. He regaled us with tales from his time living in Italy, and his experiences with a daughter of his own. It was like having a good friend prepare a perfect meal. Our Family Meal Delivery Services has now been expanded to 3 times a week. This is the same program we have been running for years.
It’s a great way to get food to your family, or send to friends who may need assistance. Right now, many people are unable to shop for themselves due to over-crowded stores, lack of products, compromised immune systems, or limited mobility due to age or other medical issues.
We can arrange for meals to be delivered 1-3 times a week, for your family, friends, or even yourself. This ensures everyone you love is eating well and reduces the need to go out to the grocery store during this unsettling time.
Special accommodations can be made for dietary restrictions. What a great gift for those in your life that need it most.

As part of our Chefs Table Dining Series, we are now offering To-Go Dining.
No more cancellations of parties for that special birthday dinner with friends, instead we can deliver your meals to all of your friends, where you can have a four course dinner party.
Imagine, a Chefs Table meal, fully prepared and easily reheat-able in your home, while dining with friends. This eclectic service is available for business and personal clients.
- Menus are customized for each client.
- We are able to accommodate any and all food allergies.
- Booking are available 7 days a week, with a 3 day lead time.
- $125/per person, minimum $250 order.
- We can deliver outside of Chicago (delivery fees may apply 10 miles outside of Chicago).
